About Us
Founder's Message:
Welcome to Weszty™ Golf! My name is John Wesztergom and I started this company in 2005 with the goal to design irons that performed every bit as good as, or even better than, the major OEMs, but without costing you an arm and a leg. And let's face it, in these trying economic times, who wants to pay up to $1,000 or more for the same old off the rack clubs that probably won't live up to the hype you were promised in all that advertising. Our irons were showcased as one of the top products from a new company at this year's PGA Merchandise Show. Our Zt - C and double - U irons were awarded the GolfTest USA "Seal of Excellence", and Charlie Mandel from Rankmark.com personally called us to tell us that our double - U model was the most accurate iron model in this year's iron testing. I invite you to browse our website and check out some of our award winning designs. If you have questions please feel free to send us an email or give me a call at 484-547-1794. Find out for yourself why more and more golfers are putting Weszty clubs in their bags!
Mission:
At Weszty™ Golf, our mission is to make the game more enjoyable for players of all skill levels. We create our designs to not only be pleasing to the eye, but to be engineered with features that make the clubs easier to hit. We strive to give you the equipment and the confidence to "Knock Down That Pin!"™
How We Do It:
All of our club heads pass through a rigorous design process. First we start out with sketches to get our initial design ideas down on paper. Then we move to a sophisticated Computer Aided Design (CAD) program to work out the specifics such as loft, lie, offset, various radiuses, bounce, face thickness, top line thickness, etc. We also use the program to pin point the center of gravity. After we are satisfied with our computer modeling, we have our designs rapid prototyped to check for design integrity. If the prototypes pass inspection, we send the designs to the foundry. We work with some of the best golf club making foundries in the world. Samples are then made and vigorously tested. We then work out any "bugs" that we find before the final product is ready for production. In the image below you can see the brass master, the cavity drawing sheet, the black plastic prototype, and the finished club head.
